How did you get involved with roller derby?: I went to the last bout of the last season and said "I so want to do this awesomeness!!" So, I got in touch with Urban Grrilla and she told me about open recruitment. I came and fell in love.

How did you choose your derby name?: Well, Jade Ninja came up with it because Im obsessed with My Little Pony. It sounds super corny but that show means a great deal to me. Plus, it highlights females in a positive light, representing strength, class, power, and love.

Pre-Derby Sports Background: Does marching band count?

Off Skates Workouts: Extreme dog walker! Some cardio and weights in the gym.

Best Fresh Meat Moment: During assessments when the grannies were supposed to be hitting us, I was avoiding Deanne T. Suddenly I heard her behaind me saying "don't you run from me!" She blasted me, but I didnt fall! It still hurt though.

Favorite Derby Moment: Passing assessments! More to come I know.

Likes: Hours at the dog park, movies, vampires, unicorns, Christmas, watching the grannies bout, and ALL the Sushi.

Dislikes: Drama Llamas, bigots, closed minds, mean people, quitters, not getting naps

Derby Heroes: All the grannies as of now. They have all been amazing in their own ways.

Pre-Bout Ritual: Not sure yet. Pretty sure it will involve loud music and sushi though.
