How did you get involved with roller derby?: Having been a figure skater and former ice hockey player, when I relocated to Florida and found that the closest ice rink was a 2 hour commute I decide to exercise other options. I looked into the local roller derby team and gave it a shot!

How did you choose your derby name?: DIESEL was my b-girl name, and suitable for roller derby so I just stuck with a previous nickname.

Best Fresh Meat Moment: I didn't experience Fresh Meat, I was moved up to practice with the team. It was hard because I didn't ever get the chance to be part of my FM Class and bond with them, but I was the "new girl" on the team and so... I wasn't exactly welcomed with open arms.

Favorite Derby Moment: Just being able to play again. There are so many GREAT moments.
