How did you get involved with roller derby?: Being in the Army I move A LOT! My move from Fort Richardson, AK to Fort Gordon, GA in 2009 was not an easy one for me. I had no friends and no family in my new town. I NEEDED to find a positive outlet. I met a girl at a local tattoo shop that said she was going to try out for the local Roller Derby Team, the Soul City Sirens. I have always done some form of skating since I was a little girl and thought it sounded like fun. The night the girl and I were supposed to go she didn't show up. That didn't stop me! Hahaha! I don't know if you have met me or not, but I'm kind of IN YOUR FACE ... I walked I walked in like I owned the place and said, "HI! I here to skate!" And I have never looked back since!
How did you choose your derby name?: I did not pick my name. It was giving to me by my coach. Want to hear the story? Come ask me!

Favorite Derby Moment: My favorite memory is from 2010. I was still skating with the Soul City Sirens and we were skating against the Savannah Derby Devils. I was jamming and coming around to turn 3, we had only seconds left on the clock. I was able to take the inside get through the pack, get my points and call it off. It was quiet while we waited for the final score to be announced ... The win ... Soul City Sirens ... by 1 point!!! It was the first time I had ever scored the winning point!
